Who we are
We’re proud to introduce the Aviva Foundation – a new chapter in how we support communities across the UK. By bringing together the Aviva Community Fund and our previous grant-making programme, the Foundation represents an exciting step forward in our commitment to building stronger communities.
We aim to support people across the UK by funding practical solutions to today’s challenges and investing in long-term change.
Founded and proudly supported by Aviva, the Aviva Foundation makes funding decisions with one clear purpose: to maximise social impact. We focus on helping people build financial stability and supporting community-led climate action.
We share insights and evidence from our work back into Aviva and the wider financial services sector. By doing so, we aim to shape more effective ways of supporting people – especially those facing the greatest challenges or with the most pressing needs.
Financial Futures Fund: Shaping stronger financial futures, together
We believe everyone should feel secure, confident and in control of their financial future. That’s why we partner with organisations delivering bold, long-term solutions to help people build financial resilience.
The Financial Futures Fund provides multi-year, grant-funding and is designed for organisations that:
- Have an annual income of £1 million or more
- Are UK-based, with beneficiaries located in the UK
- Have the potential to strengthen the financial resilience of those who need it most.
If your organisation is ready to help people take control of their financial future, we’d love to hear from you
Communities Fund: Supporting communities when it matters most
We know that local organisations are often at the heart of meaningful change. The Communities Fund supports small, local charities and non-profits tackling financial and climate challenges – whether it’s helping people take control of their financial wellbeing, or protecting the places they love in a changing climate.
The Communities Fund offers the opportunity to receive match funding through a crowdfunding platform and is aimed at organisations that:
- Have an annual income of £1 million or less
- Are UK-based, with beneficiaries located in the UK
- Are actively making a difference in their local communities
- Focus on one or both of our key areas: financial wellbeing and climate action.
