Babyzone and Working Families: improving digital access to employment rights and financial support
Babyzone is partnering with Working Families to support expectant and new parents through the award-winning Baby Buddy app, which is trusted by over 500,000 families and endorsed by leading health bodies.
Many parents often lack timely, accessible information on employment rights and financial entitlements during pregnancy and early parenthood. This gap can lead to missed benefits, job insecurity and heightened financial stress at a critical life stage.
With the Foundation’s support, this project will embed Working Families’ Pregnancy and Maternity Calendar into Baby Buddy, delivering personalised alerts on rights, entitlements and key deadlines. With the potential to reach an estimated 20,000 working parents annually, this intervention aims to reduce financial stress, improve job retention and strengthen family resilience - helping parents manage challenges, plan for the future and worry less about money.
