Enable Scotland is a leading human rights charity supporting disabled people and others facing inequality to access employment, independence and opportunity. Through Enable Works, it supports more than 10,000 people each year to access, sustain and progress in employment.

With support from the Aviva Foundation, Enable will develop Making Work Pay, embedding financial resilience support within its employment services. People will be offered financial health checks, practical financial education and, where needed, more personalised help with benefits, income and financial difficulties as they move towards and into work.

The project aims to support at least 4,350 people over three years, helping them increase their financial confidence and stability while sustaining employment. Enable will use what it learns to develop tools and guidance for other employment providers, commissioners and employers, with the ambition of making financial resilience a more integral part of employment support.
