Housing Associations’ Charitable Trust (HACT)

HACT supports the social housing sector to improve lives, championing the belief that housing is about more than bricks and mortar. Through its Centre for Excellence in Community Investment, HACT brings together housing associations, residents, community partners and voices from across the social housing sector and beyond to collaborate on tackling the systemic challenges that drive poverty and inequality.

With support from the Aviva Foundation, HACT will deliver Resilient Futures, an Anti‑Poverty Solutions Hub exploring how poverty is experienced by social renters and what social landlords can do to build financial resilience.

The initiative will co‑design, pilot and evaluate six innovative learning experiments with housing providers and specialist charities, including targeted support for young people, care leavers and new tenants. Insights will be shared nationally, helping the sector adopt practical, scalable approaches that strengthen financial inclusion and long‑term security for residents.
